Our standard range of sheds is anything but that. They are in fact a very good quality shed with good eave and ridge heights. Because these buildings are such a popular item, they are made on a jig in large numbers and we generally hold some in stock at each of our sites. Whilst manufacturing in this manner allows us to keep our price to you our customer to a minimum, it does mean that the variables/options for changes to the standard shed are limited.
Should you need a standard shed, but with the door on a side wall (rather than on a gable wall) we can provide an extra high standard shed. Prices for extra high sheds are shown below alongside those for the standard height sheds.

The only additional option is: an opening window instead of fixed (£80) and/or the door hinged on the left instead of the right (£30).

The 2.4 wide buildings can also be supplied with a double door instead of a single door.  The extra cost for this is £88
 
Because the sections are standard, you can of course reverse which side has the windows - so if you're up against a wall in your garden with the windows on the wrong side of the shed you want to buy, it can be resolved!
 
Our standard shed range incorporates a sturdy ridge bar that will prevent roof sag and extend the life of the shed.  The new improved specification makes it possible to increase the size of the building you purchase – by changing the design to incorporate the sturdier ridge bar, it means that you can add on extra panels that slot easily into the structure.
 
The Georgian style on the 2.4 wide standard shed has been quite popular.  Side panels have standard windows.

Our Heavy Duty range is just that – a top quality range of buildings on a very substantial framework that will last for years. They are recommended by us for "workshop" type use. They also lend themselves ideally to insulating.

This range of buildings is the most flexible. We have quoted most frequently asked for sizes but if they don’t happen to suit your garden, playing field or general site, please ask us to quote for your individual need.

Additional doors and windows of various styles can be added to individual requirements for which we will be pleased to quote upon enquiry. Please note that an increase on eaves height of 150mm above standard (see Heavy Duty Specification) can be supplied for a 4% surcharge on the basic price of any building.

Is this a chalet, a summerhouse, a garage or a gamesroom. This building shows the adaptability of a basic Apex shed … and a little imagination!

Another popular range of buildings that is very adaptable. The standard Pent sheds have one fixed window and a door in the front section. The Heavy-duty Pents can have the door along the side or in the end of the building and windows where you want them. With Baddow Pents there is one opening window included in buildings up to 3m long and two opening windows in buildings over 3m long. A hasp and staple is standard for security, or a rimlock can be fitted for £35 instead. Benches inside can be provided at a cost of £53 per metre run.

Our Garage has a heavy duty framework and includes one pair of heavy duty frame, ledged and braced doors to the front. This range does not have a wooden floor and should be erected on a concrete base (ideally on one or two courses of bricks).
